Keg at Mongoose vs Cobra. It pours cloudy rich orange with a decent white head. The aroma is earthy, toasted grain, cereal, hay, slightly medicinal and funk. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, quite fruity, lemon peel, minerals, sherbet, granny smith apple, good mouth - pucker, sour kumquat and orange marmalade with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. The nose is fairly tame, but it tastes rather nice.

Bottle courtesy of Craig (cheers Craig!) consumed in a field at Fairports Annual Reunion Festival, Cropredy Friday 12th August 2016 Pours brown in colour with a light beige head. Some soft caramel and fruitiness in this malty beer. If I am being honest I am not really getting that much to write home about, it’s ok. hadn’t even picked up the BA. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3

Can received in trade from blutt59, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a solid dark brown bordering on black with a decent sized bubbly tan head that quickly recedes.Creamed coffee on the nose with faint hints of chocolate and caramel. Slightly acrid roasty flavor with a bit more caramel and chocolate rounding it out. Pretty tasty sweet stout.
