Sample at Flying Saucer in Austin. The beer pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin white head that burns away to a wispy film quickly. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Spices, fruit and yeast in the nose. Light body with a wheaty, fruity character and touches of hops and yeast. The finish is mildly spiced with a citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bomber from the Texasbeerguy - ericandersnavy. Pours very dark brown with a creamy/fizzy tan head. The aroma of dark fruit, chocolate and smooth burnt malt is mind bending. Full bodied. Flavor is tart cherry, chocolate and tortured malt. This would go great with anything chocolate. Including itself. This is full of flavor, and likely calories. Yet it isn’t all that sweet. Tart cherry chocolate. Quite unique - one would think every brewer would want to make this. Yum.

Bomber from ericandersnavy. Pours slightly hazy dark copper with bubbly near white head. Aromas of rye spice and a lot of hoppiness. Med+ body. Lots of rye/spice. Lots of fruity/resin/floral hop. This is a major taste treat. Rye. Lots of hop. Symphony of flavors in the mouth. Finishing far from sweet with lots of hop. Yum! There was no penny pinching here. Brilliant. (love rye)

On tap at both BTBF and a few samples at Deep Ellum. Started off great, but the more samples (2 or 3) I drank at the after party, the more I wanted to get the Rye Pils or IPA instead. Pours with a near black, chocolate looking body with a tan head that lasts. Aromas are of chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, cola, molasses, chewy, earthy, light dark fruits. Flavors are of licorice, leather, earthy, currants, light chlorine. Medium bodied, mildly boozy.
