Big old 500 ml (perhaps) bottle. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A light grainy sweet nose. The flavor is a crisp sweet pale lager, not much of a hoppy presence, some light honey. All in all, this is pretty good. But basically a sweeter smoother pale lager.

12 ounce can from a convenience store in Yotsuya. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. A light crisp nose, bready. Basic cleanish lager, earthy, light lemon. Pretty smooth.

Small white head doesn’t last. Clear yellow body. Faint grainy aroma with fruity notes. Dryish grainy fruity taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity plastic aftertaste with mealy notes. Not bad, but anonymous and lacking in character. (0.5l can, from 7-11, Kanazawa.)

Medium white head. Deep yellow body with light carbonation. Light tropical fruit aroma. Dryish delicate tropical fruit taste with citric mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry tropical fruit and citrus aftertaste with delicate malty notes. Nice, drinkable and thirst-quenching. (0.5l can, from FamilyMart, Shoin-jinja-mae, Tokyo.)
