Description

Based in Wokingham, Berkshire, Bearwood Brewing is an independent craft brewery and taproom. We are focused on brewing the best Hoppy IPAs, Luxurious Stouts and Fruity Sours (and everything else inbetween).

The team is made up of John Willatts, Max Baylis, Christian Cummings and Peter Rhodes from The Outhouse Brewery at Southgate House in Wokingham town centre.

330ml draught at Balthazar. Kindly shared by Finn. Decent white head over a cloudy golden body, spotty lacing. Promising aromas of citrus and peaches. Hop fruity taste with grapefruits added by impacts of orange and peaches. Rounded tail with a welcome bitter bite. Medium bodied. Pretty good .(Tromsø, 10.04.2026).

Cask at EBF Easter 26. Dark. A cola tint. Thick frothy foamy white head. Aroma is big and sweet combining marshmallow and raspberry puree. Flavourwise the core is bitter with a caramel sweetness and peripheral sourness. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. DECE.
