Keg at the brewery. Aroma had vinous notes and herbs over sweet fruit but is relatively low key. Hazy creamy yellow. Thin foamy white head. Flavourwise it had a zesty citrus sour streak with a tart edge. Light fruity sweetness in the mix. Underlying polite malts. The Aussie hops reslly do their thing. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long rather dry and somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy pale gold. Foamy white head. Aroma has sweet fruit and porridge with a light bitter strick. Flavourwise there is a bitter core - gooseberry, a vinous element and herbs. This is over sweet fruit. Sour edge. The bitterness then closes things. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Well balanced.

Keg draught at the Mold Alehouse. Light yellow gold, hazy with a swirl of white head. A lot of melon in the aroma, some green tropical hop, pineapple, white grapefruit. Taste is bittersweet, astringent and intense, lots of hop but maybe not quite as much balance as I'd like ideally. Finish is noticeably bitter. Thin to medium body with soft carbonation. It's not bad at all but a little bit more subtly wouldn't go amiss.

Can. Nectaron, Citra and Superdelic hops, Citra Hyperboost as well. Just a light haze on this paleish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a very light creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine into juicy hop fruits, stone fruits enlivened by a light and slightly candyish lemon streak. Soft candyish berries. Mild rounded citrus in the background. Light finish. A pleasant and easy drinking dipa, could do with a little more hop edge but, it goes down very easy.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a murky lemon with minimal scummy off-white head and good lacing. There’s peach, pineapple and floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sharp but with some underlying hints of sweetness and a fluffy texture. Flavours are lemon, citrus, mango, peach and grapefruit. Citrus dominates the slightly sticky finish. This is probably ok, but not my sort of beer at all (only chose it because it was a brewery tick !)

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, pecan, maple, taste is similar, quite harsh and acrid at first but it mellows out, little buttery in the finish. 8/8/7/7/7
