Dark black body with barely any head. Aroma of fruits mixed with roasted barley. Flavour is syrupy sweetness and a hint of barley in there. Way too sweet, like sucking back on syrup. Cloying.

Rerate from tap: Tap at Swans. Hazy golden, creamy offwhite head. Mild fruity, light hop balance with a dry grassy edge, some hidden grain. Light, but surprisingly chewy. No epiphany, but quite pleasant. Old rating: 6 4 6 3 11. Light citric cascade on straw. Golden, white head. Light sticky straw, grassy citric, straw flavour. Dusty aftertaste, quite sticky. Ok chewyness.

Tap at swans. Amber, creamy head. Juniper aroma. Medium to light body, needs a bit more chewyness to play with the Germans. Grain and hallertau finish. Pleasant though.

Tap. Cloudy yellow. Low head. Fine flowery citric hop aroma. Pleasant citrus flavor, lime orangepeel. Citrus yeast and hop notes work well together, spices not apparent. Medium body, light sparkly. Fine rendition of the style.

Tap. Dark brown. Subtle and well put together. Chocolate, light coconut - like a dry bounty bar. Chewy body, mellow mouthfeel. Pleasant sessionable porter.

Sampled at GCBF '10, pours dark brown. Aroma and flavour of dominating coconut, with undertones of roasted malt. Decent. 6 3 6 3 12 3.0/5
On tap at Swans Hotel, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose brings out toasted coconut and medium roast. Flavour is very smooth, with lots of toasted coconut and toasted malt. A coconut bomb, with subdued cocoa. Quite nice stuff, much better than when I had it 6 years earlier.

Sampled on tap at the Alibi Room, pours reddish brown. Very subtle aroma of lightly toasted English malts, some hops, nuts and some toffee. Flavour resembles this mix, with a pretty soft, creamy mouthful. Reminds me more of a brown ale or an ESB. Quite nice.
