Bottle @ LCRBM 08: Poured a copper color with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malts. The taste seemed as sweet bubblegum and roasted malts.

Bottle (LCRBM08): Clear, amber coloured, small, stable off-white head; moderate nutty-toasty nose with a detectable trace of aromatic hops; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering toastd-malty finish with a hoppy aftertaste. Good DDR-Bock...........

Huge dense, cream-coloured head over clear foxy-pale amber beer. Sweet malts, grassy, spicy nose. Sweet malts - imagine sugared grass, not hoppy. Rather slick, medium bodied, aftertaste of maltsugars, dextrines. Sweet-ish, needs desperately some hops.

Litre bottle, bought at the brewery, 5.3%. Slow gusher. Clear very dark brown colour. Big stable light brown head. Sweet flavour, slightly roasted. Faint bread note along with a little smoke. Like their pils, I am not sure the smoke is intended, but it works well, especially with this one.

Litre bottle bought at the brewery, 5.2%. Slow gusher. Clear amber colour, small unstable head. The flavour is OK malty with a hint of smoke. I wonder if the smoke is intended, out of style, but tastes all right. Does not have any other signs of infection except the rather high carbonation.
