50cl bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a huge most good lasting froothy white head. Aroma of mild metallic hops, grainy malt. Taste of mild grassy hops, pale malt, hints of metallic hops, overall not bad.

Trübes goldgelbes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, leicht fruchtig, phenolisch. Geschmack süß malzig, hefig, leicht bananig, phenolisch,trocken.

Standard Helles appearance. Aroma is sweet malts, not really hoppy. Taste is flowery, sweet malts, boring Helles, but very drinkable. Finish is too metallic. Nice foamy mouthfeel. I am not sure what to think of this.

0,5 l bottle. Also from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear, golden, white head. Looks like expected. Malty with fruity hints on the nose. Taste is malt, grainy, little bit metallic, citrus background. Increasing bitterness. More taste than a standard Helles, but still a Helles.

Hornecker Pils, Flasche (50 cl) von Getränke Hörl, Dollnstein. - Hellgelb, blank; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase ein unangenehmer Duft wie von vollgesch... Windeln; dahinter ist ein wenig grasiger Hopfen zu erschnuppern. - Antrunk schlank mit zu deutlicher säuerlicher Note, hopfenherb ohne feinere Hopfenaromen. Schlank, sehr trocken. Abgang kräftig hopfenherb, Unkraut, etwas Schwefel. - Eigenartiges Zeug: der Geruch ist eine Katastrophe, der Geschmack schon besser, aber edelster Siegelhopfen aus der Hallertau (so das Etikett) schmeckt anders. Immerhin schön trocken und herb, daher bei geschlossener Nase durchaus trinkbar, sogar angenehm. (21.4.2015.)

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Smooth and malty beginning. Not too deep, not too hoppy. Standart Helles with not much flavour. Highly drinkable though but boring with hints of grain and only a few malty hints. No long aftertaste, nearly no bitterness.

Bottle looks very simple, almost like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest hoppy-dry, grasy, light sourish. Background a bit metallically. All in all quite mild, but not washy, but the hoppy notes could be more intense. Average.

Bottle:Pale golden to golden, a bit unclear, some tiny floaties visible, stable creamy mid-sized White head with a Little lace; mainly sweetish-grainy nose with subdued medical hops and a tinge of metal; light bitter-sweet flavour, nearly watery - but a bit adstringent; metallic traces - again - in the dry bitter finish. No, no glory...
