Hazy orange body with white head. Evergreen and fruit aroma. Full hoppy taste with a long fruit finish. By the way, Ringo wanted to be the walrus, but they wouldn't let him

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is definitely citrus. Med body. Dry. A touch of dank bitterness. Then lots of citrus, like lemon without zest. Gets dank/earthy after a bit. Hop is somewhat burning. Flavor is ok, but the hop impact is very good. Good overall.

Can (1/17/24) pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. Cloudy, orange with light sparkle, numerous floaties, persistent head with light lacing. Aroma is strong lemon citrus and pineapple. Taste follows aroma with citrus astringency, late biscuit. Smooth texture, lively carbonation and dry, yeasty, lightly bitter finish. Floaties, astringency and lively carbonation detract.

Very hazy golden and straw yellow coloured body with a very soapy, three to four centimetre tall off-white head that fades slowly and leaves an ugly lace on the sides. Aroma of lactose, cream, vanilla, light oranges, some blueberries and a noticeable kick of oats and wheat as very easy-going malts - very nice nose throughout, but no real hop or alcohol scents at all. Medium-bodied; Fairly lactosey and creamy vanilla-y flavours show at first with a smooth oaty and biscuity malt backbone here with some enjoyable fruit notes as well, that show more blueberries and oranges than anything tropical, all with a little bitterness from the alpha acids, especially near the end. Aftertaste shows a good balance of the malts here with a smooth, fruity hop complexity with a good level of sweetness here from the fruit and seemingly the vanilla and it goes down easily without much alcohol noticeable. Overall, a very nice, funky beer that shows enough of hops and bitterness to be acceptable to list 'IPA' on the label, but even this is a stretch - it's more of a deeper cream ale, and the complexity is nice and adds to the richness. Great to sample, even almost one year after brewing! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in San Francisco (SoMA), California on 08-March-2022 for US$3,99, canned on 28-September-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 17-September-2022, almost a full year after canning.

From can to glass. Pours a slushy yellow-gold with off-white head that leaves minimal patterns and a dusting over the top. Lemon drop and orange aromas both in equal parts. Flavor is citrusy fruit with solid malt support and slight crystal sugars.
