330ml can into my lovely Gordon's thistle shaped glass at home before our Spaghetti Bolognaise. Black with a weak tanned top. Dry and pretty bland, malty but boring and uninteresting.

Pours a clean brown with fluffy beige head. Aroma has a roasted malt, with light coffee, some dustiness, quite sweet. Taste hast that roasty element with caramel, coffee, buttercream. Moderate bitterness with some light spice notes. Near mid bodied, slick with a soft high frothy carbonation. Session strength, balanced and flavoursome - my kind of beer.

Pours a cloudy yellow/pale gold with decent white head. Aroma has a lemon, passionfruit, slight drying yeasty character. Taste I find a slightly watered down version of the aroma but nice. Good mouthfeel, light to mid-bodied, fine carbonation. Pleasant, easy drinking, just nothing here to excite.

Murky brown with decent off-white head. Aroma is a bit like a brown ale, slightly meaty, malty, nuts, slight dust and straw. Taste is not like a brown ale; somewhat yeasty and dry but extremely metalic, nuts, light caramel, tangy. Drinkable but halfway towards unpleasant.

Can from Beer52. Pours a light hazy yellow-gold, small white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of bucks fizz, zest, yeast, peach. Taste of passionfruit, orange, yeast, soft malts. Moderate bitterness offset by the right level of sweetness. Soft mouthfeel and carbonation. Enjoyable fake brewery beer once you get used to the kveik yeast which I'm still not convinced about flavour wise.

24/12/2024. Can from Beer52, a secret Santa Christmas gift. Pours hazy pale yellow orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, orange, lightly tropical, yeasty, straw, touch herbal. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite watery, average carbonation. Uninspiring B52 effort.
