Can from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - murky yellow to orange. Foamy white head. Nose - dank, lemon, melon and an edge of pineapple. Taste - lemon and pineapple with a herbaceous undercurrent. Palate - medium bodied, tangy middle and bittersweet finish. Overall - yes, enjoyable.

Pours a deep, dark brown with a frothy beige head and a brown sugar aroma. Relatively light bodied, it's quite sweet, with candy sugar, dark fruit and some chocolate in the mix, only a very subtle roasted malt character to it, and a fading soft bitterness

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a hazy rich reddish brown with a very transient minimal tan head. As for the aroma, well the can is distinctly woody whereas the glass has malts and caramel. In the mouth it is sweet and quite bready with cola, caramel, malts and toffee. Finish is quite yeasty. Decent – a lot better than I expected.

Fairly average pilsner, exploded as soon as I opened the can, then didn't seem all that carbonated. Slightly hazy, white head. Slight bitterness but lacking any real flavour.
