[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola brown pour with a thick beige head; aroma of brown sugar; sweet sugary taste with some winter spices adding warmth. More a dubbel than a porter.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; rather unattractive fruity yeast aroma; sweet floral taste with a malty body; and an unpleasant herbal bitterness to finish. Rather medicinal overall.

Tastes more alcoholic than it is. A - roast, nuts I think bit of caramel F - roasted slightly burned caramel fair bitterness on the finish its different to most porters but thats not necessarily a bad thing.

Can from Beer52. It pours hazy yellow - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is touch of stone fruit .. peach /apricot, white bread, straw, floury bread, grass and herbal vibes. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, decent bitterness, straw, grass, herbal, floral accents, peppery spice, cracker, slightly chalk and floury bread with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. A bit lackluster tbh. Drinks ok.

330ml can: BB 27th September 2024, drank down in Devon at my dads on 19th January 2024. Hazed light golden body, white topping. Citrus front to the aroma and taste, slight farmyard leanings, dirty lemons with tractor fumes and a thrashing machine vibe!

330ml can via Beer52; BBE March 2025, drank at home on 21st December 2023. Very dark brown, decent beige head. Roasted/toasted malty front with a coffee hint or two, semi-sweet with a mini hop bitterness towards the finish. Better than I expected to be honest.

Can from Beer52. It pours pretty much black with a medium khaki head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, charred vibes, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, espresso, chocolate covered coffee beans and praline. The taste is firmly dry, crispy, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, charred malt, burnt toast, cacao nibs, toasted spice and a touch of umami/liquorice with a dark roasted finish. Average body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Decent, easy chugging schwarzbier.
