Bottled Oct 2022, drunk 2/26/23. Clear, dark mahogany. Tan head to ring. Nose is peppery, spicy, well-done Buff Trace with light char, vanilla and soft maple. Not aggressive or over-barreled. Soft, sweet, rich, malty with a healthy dose of vanilla and light maple flavor. Great bourbon character, tastefully-done too. Dry whiskey on the finish with the beer drying out nicely, as well. Good richness, stickiness, not boozey with evident but not overdone bourbon. Well-structured/executed all around.

Few at home from stony broom. Dark brownish black. Is Dian Arabella and licorice. Tatses the same licorice, toasted malts, coffee, earth, caramel. Medium bodied

Dry, nice raspberry flavor, and less funk than the Borealis.

Tart, dry, and very funky.

Toasty and malty, nice amber.

Canned 11/17/22, drunk 1/22/23. Dark brown, viscous. No head. Stiff espresso, stale coffee, strong, bitter dark roast. Vanilla, sharp acid. Stale roast, heavy coffee, no depth. Too dry, strong, meh.

CX draught, 1/18/23. Moderately hazy, apricot peach golden. No head. Grass, herbs, mango, papaya. Pretty nice mix of sweet and dry hop notes with cracker and bread-like malts. Bit of sweat, stone fruit and vanilla. No resin, alcohol, flaw. Soft, malty, juicy but with good bitterness. Lime and kumquat with honey and tangerine rind lingering. Nice amount of bitterness but also round and juicy. Clean.

CX location draught, 1/18/23. Clear blonde-hay. White head to ring. Very grassy, herbal notes with tons of pepper. Was there chamomile or thyme added to this?? I'm getting that more than anything. Light Brett behind it, delicate all around. Yeah there's gotta be something here more than a heavy floral Brett or buckwheat. But it smells fine nonetheless. More of it in the flavor, floral borderline bath soaps with a soft, tannic texture. Cherry, honey, heavy floral notes ....I guess it's this honey they used...gets better as it warms and breathes, but seems like they should have used less honey. It's very dominant.
