Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of black chocolate with some residual sugar and some liquorice notes. Taste is a complex mix of black chocolate notes with some dry roasted malt notes with hints of liquorice and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent warming alcohol. World-class imperial stout.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light caramel notes, light coffee grind, musty character, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light oily mouth feel, light orange pulp, light vanilla extract, light and smooth. On tap at L’autre Oeil.

Bottle: Poured a deep copper color ale with a medium foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of oak with some sweet caramelized malt notes with some hints of Brandy and rum. Taste is a complex mix of caramelized malt with some residuals sugar notes some dry fruits and with some nice woody notes and light Brandy notes for a smooth finish. Body si full with good carbonation and some warming alcohol notes. Super well balanced beer with loads of complexity. I wished I bought more than one.
