Sure Minée à la Framboise. A beautiful cranberry red ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice mix of cranberry and raspberry jam, light acidity, light mineral notes, nice and pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light cranberry notes, light black berry, nice and refreshing. On tap at IBU 2016.

Fut de chianti. A pinkish burgundy ale with a thin pinkish white head. In aroma, sweet fruity ground cherries with light acidity, light Brett, light Epsom, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity tart cherry malt with light acidity, light Brett, very nice and refreshing. On tap at IBU 2016.

Growler: Poured a clear burgundy color lager with a nice large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of clear cereal notes with hints of caramel and light residual sugar notes is quite enticing. Taste is also a great mix of clean cereal notes with some light caramelized notes and some residual sugar notes though finish is quite dry. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Quaffable and well brewed for the style.

A hazed golden amber ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy floral hops, light sulfur notes, resinous and dank. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous catty hops, light mineral notes, light dank character, pleasant. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau hiver 2016.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy warm cap, decent retention and a little lacing. Fruity malt aromas with citrus notes, especially oranges. Same nice orange in the taste with some citrus zest in the finish. The mouthfeel has some nice dryness. A pretty nice Imperial IPA that is overall well-balanced.

A dark brown stout with reddish hues, and a thick creamy brown head. In aroma, bitter herbaceous chocolate with coffee grind and grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet buttery chocolate malt with light pop corn and light coffee notes, light bodied, OK. On tap at Noire et Blanche.

En fut à la brasserie à Val D’Or le 29 juillet 2015. De superbes houblons résineux avec beaucoup de sapinage en bouche et à l’olfactif. Des accents d’eucalyptus également. Quelques notes d’agrumes en entrée de bouche (citron, pamplemousse et fruit de la passion). Unidimensionnelle mais de combien dans ma palette de goût.

En fut au Pub Chez Gibb, Rouyn-Noranda, le 28 juillet 2015. Une belle couleur cuivrée avec une superbe de belle mousse dense. La chaleur d’alcool monte en bouche dès le départ avec des effluves de cognac aux accents de cerises au marasquin et de mandarines. La finale nous montre une légère amertume de houblons terreux. En bouche c’est rond et généreux. Mais encore une fois, on manque la présence de cette légère acidité propre aux levures Belges. Une vrai bière bonbon. Une liqueur. Un digestif.

En fût au Pub Chez Gibb le 28 juillet 2015. Hybride entre une IPA et une Irish Cream Ale. De couleur noire. On sent dès le départ les accents rôtis et fumés. C’est un beau fumé aux accents de sucre et de mélasse. En bouche, on est également dans les accents très maltés et fumés, avec une amertume de café noir très corsé et des notes de chocolat noir intenses. Par contre, c’est une vrai texture de Cream Ale, épaisse et velouté à souhait avec un visuel saisissant à la mousse épaisse et dense.

En fût au Pub chez Gibb le 28 juillet. Très fruitée avec une chaleur d’alcool prenante en entrée de bouche. Une base de malts fumés s’impose également. On y retrouve du melon au miel, des fruits tropicaux, de la mangue, de la cantaloup. Très fruitée et sucrée. Manque cependant la légère acidité typique aux bières belges. Belle rondeur en bouche. Agréable et fruitée.
