Description
De brouwmeesters van de Texelse Bierbrouwerij maken sinds 1999 hun bijzondere bieren. Texels speciaalbier wordt gebrouwen van uitsluitend natuurlijke grondstoffen, waaronder Texelse gerst. Dat maakt al de speciaalbieren tot een puur product van Texel.
In de voormalige zuivelfabriek van Oudeschild maakt de Texelse Bierbrouwerij speciaalbier met traditioneel vakmanschap en eigentijdse technologie.

In november 2020 door Heineken verworven.

33 cl bottle from Jan Linders, Eindhoven, on December 12, 2014.BB 12.09.2024.Clear dark reddish brown color, small teal head. Sweet, dark dried fruits, alcohol scent. Roasted, toasted, alcohol, dried dark fruits taste. Roasted, toasted aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Light brown colour with lasting head. Wheaty, yeasty with sweeter elements of banana. Slightly spicy.

Tap at Rootz festival. Clear Amber with off white head. Lots of fruit with orange and grapefruit, sweet grains, Christmas bread, nice spicy yeast. Slight creamy feel. Not bad at all.

Arends Nest. Keg. Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Sweet dry malts, little dull caramel. Touch of spice. Whisper of orangey dried fruits. Airy dry finish. Passable.

Keg at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 28/09/14. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric peel, straw, cloves, yeasty notes, spice, bitter orange. Taste comprises grain, citric rinds, tangerine, clove. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair which doesn’t really tick the stlye boxes for me.

Pours brown with a lively tan head. Roasted aroma, tastes of alcohol and malt. Should age well.

Pours lightbrown , way darker than the picture . Smell is bit sweet, some earth , autumn leaves , copper . Taste is bit bitter , malty , tad sweet , some spices . Dough ( coockiedaugh ) . Lught , gentle , balanced taste . Very bice yet again
