Tastes like a blend of a Belgian dubbel with a doppelbock. Yeasty body, with dryish caramalt and lots of herbs and fruits. Good.

Tasty dunkelweizen, has a little more depth and herbs than usual for this style. Probably, because the Dutch don’t need to keep the Reinheitsgebot.

Bottle at The Fiddler, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is mango, tropical fruit. The flavour is medium bitter, light sweet with a fruity malt, light hop palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Really enjoyed this one. The best beer I’ve had from Texel.
