Aroma of fruits, malt, some grapefruit, some coffee, hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Body and mouthfeel impress. As Black IPA’s go this one is a bit restrained. Still, it goes a long way to decrease the conservative, almost stuffy character of the Texelse Brouwerij.

Aroma of malt, caramel, nuts, raisins, brown sugar, hint of dark fruits. Flavour is sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Somewhat drinkable Dubbel, but dull and forgettable.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish bready malt, caramel, mild toffee, touch of yeast, herbal tea and a hint of fruity hops. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Not what I’d consider an Irish Red Ale, has a distinct sweet yeasty Belgian touch, smooth and very drinkable.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is wheaty and citrussy with lemon and peppery yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium. Light and citrussy Witbier, refreshing, easy inoffensive session beer.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Softly fruity aroma with citrus, yeast, pale malt, light spicy. Mild sweetish and light bitter flavour, medium body. Decent, clean and ultimately forgettable, like most Texels beer.

Аромат слабоват если честно, даже не совсем походе на темную пшеничку. Какие то нотки карамели есть но очень скудные, какая то кислота излишняя, хлебушек. Цвет темно коричневый, пенка тоже не большая. Вкус уже больше напоминает на стиль. Появились что то похожее на бананы, но очень на оттенке, есть немного самой пшеницы, даже какие то цветочные нотки на глотке. Послевкусие в меру питкое и водянистое. В Целом на один раз.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is gentle tropical fruit, grapefruit, malt, notes of apricot. Hint of caramel and some pine. Flavour is mild sweetish and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Friendly and 'safe' IPA as expected, but I like it.

330ml bottle at Gollum on the Water last month. Pours a cloudy amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, tangerine, honey, herbs, spices & yeast. Medium body. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable
