Notre histoire brassicole a commencé modestement et comme beaucoup d’amateurs nous avons débuté dans nos caves, autour de casseroles un peu rafistolées… Mais avec le temps nous avons travaillé notre recette et nous nous sommes professionnalisés.

Donkergeel tot oranjeachtig troebel bier met matig schuim.
Aroma is moutig en licht kruidig.
Smaak is bitterzoet en toch fruitig (banaan, appel).
Nasmaak is een beetje bitter.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, a bit ashy, dusty, earthy lightly. Flavor is malts, light iron, bitter, malt bitter, distant espresso. Decent to medium body and average carbonation. Okayish.

Bottle at home. Nice clear dark red-brown color with a dark red glare when held into the light. Medium to full sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, distant brown candy sugar notes but most dominant is an unpleasant tart / sour flavor that shouldn't be in here I'm sure. Drinkable but not very good.

33cl bottle from Carrefour market Shopping Woluwe in Brussels.
F: medium, tan, average retention.
C: dark, opaque.
A: banana, chocolate, bit herbal, dark dried fruits, coffee.
T: full malty base, chocolate, herbal, dark fruits, black tea, roasted tones, dry on the palate, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, ok drinkable yet nothing realy special.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Darker orange color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a slight sweet hint up front, a bit herbal, decently bitter. Okay.

A clear clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of strong grainy malt, straw, yeast, herbs. Taste of strong grainy malt, straw, cereals, ripe fruits.

Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Moderat hefiger, süßlich kräutriger Beginn. Helles Malz, wenig würzig, trocken. Spritzig, kurzer Abgang, trinkbar aber langweilig. 8/8/9/8/8/8

Bière 75 cl ramenée par mon frère et bue à la maison. Bière bien ancrée dans les traditions brassicoles de sa région d'origine, incarne avec fidélité le profil caractéristique des bières belges. Cependant elle ne se démarque pas de manière significative. Notes de levure, touches de céréales, une blonde belge réussie.
