Grape must, cellar, old white wine, sourdough. Sour grape, plum, some lemon, bit vinegary. Tart grape, grape skin, old white wine or almost-sherry like finish. Dry, old profile; not overly complex, just a nice dry apéritif.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a teku glass. Sourish and farmyard nose. Hazy pale amber colour, becoming somewhat murky after a while, good frothy off-white head, good retention and fair lacing. Aroma pale malt, sour, farmyard, spicy notes, lemon peel, earthy hops. Taste medium sweet, bitter and sour, malty, cloves, ginger, pepper, green apple, some banana. Medium body, oily texture, semi-dry sweet, bitter and sour aftertaste, spices, orange pith, earthy notes, not your typical saison but interesting enough and well-made. very nice.
