Bottle shared. Almost clear golden. Massive barnyard, donkey sweat, sweet apple, cork, soft leather. It's sweet in a candy and pie kind of way, balanced with a lot of funk and some tannins. Over medium sweet, very light bitter. Solid medium bodied, light dry. Nice.

75cl bottle from Maison de Perguet. Pours an unclear golden yellow, gentle spritz. Perfumed notes to start, soft palate, medium to light bodied, extremely well balanced flavour profile, refined with moderately sweet apple, really harmonious.. excellent.

75cl bottle from the producer. Pours gold, bright effervescence. Wonderfully fresh feel with shining medium bittersweet fruit carressing a gentle breezy coarse side. Great Cidre brut.

330ml bottle from Maison de Peuguet. Opened after collecting Willow. Nice smokiness here. Wonder where that's from? Brings to mind a cellar barn with a wood burner.. good brut fruit shining through with soft tannins. Like this.

75cl bottle shared with Soph @ Maison de Perguet after a bike ride to Bénodet and back. Pours a generally clear bright gold. Fresh, balanced, fruity, light. Nice apple definition.. crisp, light apple skin shades.. again supremely well balanced. Very good.

330ml bottle sat on a bench overlooking Port La Foret on our last evening in Brittany. Pours a misty orangey gold, gentle carbonation. Interesting slightly orangey caramelised fruit coming though here, some caramelised mush.. soft tannins.. interesting characterful cider.
