A ‘Dutch Bargain’ is an agreement made while drinking, where one of the parties concerned takes an adventage over the other. Every time you get a hold of one of our beers, we lose one. So with a Dutch Bargain in your hand, you always win.
Started in 2012 as Brouwerij Marckensteijn. In 2015 the name was changed into Brouwerij Brouwerslokaal with the brands Dutch Bargain and Marckensteijn.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, heavy caramel and hazelnut. Flavor is extremely sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with lots of alcohol. Oily and soft. 290326

Blik gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van Bourbon en hout tonen. De smaak is zoet, vol gebrande mout, vanille en Bourbon.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! :Hszy golden, small head. Fruity nose with eucalupthus, banana and compost heap. Sweet with light to medium body and clean mouthfeel. Menthol, old garbage, apples and syrup. Low bitterness.

citrussy , slightly sweet flowery and sweet malty aroma. refreshing.
good hoppy bitterness, flowery and hoppy slightly citrussy flavor, crisp malts. really nice pils like bitterness to balance the malts. does not really taste very nonal'ish.

Clear dark brown beer, creamy dense beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of caramel, dark caramel, a hint of vanilla, lots of chocolate, hazelnut notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of chocolate, pleasant, some vanilla, earthy, a little nutty, peanuts, alcohol, more chocolate, very nicely balanced. Aftertaste: chocolate, dry, nutty, earthy, caramel vanilla, chocolate, very nice!

MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lovely, lots of chocolate notes, gentle bitterness, more chocolate, quite a lot of oranges and tangerines. Aftertaste: very nice, good roast, lots of chocolate, lots of oranges, tangerines, mandarin Napoleon liqueur, more chocolate, bitter, good roast, very nice one, lovely stuff going on here!
