Bottle split at Chris & Ruths pre GBBF Shin Dig, cheers for all the shares, 05/08/17. Hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is earthy fruits, tangy melon, popcorn, light caramel quiver, mellow bourbon, ripe fruit peel. Taste comprises sweet and sour fruits, Armagnac evident, fruit cake, spice, toffee, dried fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a rising alcohol bite. Decent for the style.

Nose is earthy fruits, spice, fruit cake, dates, mellow oak soak. Taste comprises tangy fruits, light metallic nip, brown bread, raisins, earthy, mellow barrel tang. Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a rising boost. Ok stuff but lacks depth and clarity for me.

Réelle surprise lors de cette dégustation de cette Anosteké blonde, mais non positive malheureusement. A me demander même si mon exemplaire à 3 mois avant sa date, n'était pas altérée tant le déséquilibre est patent avec des arômes peu harmonieux entre eux, une acidité présente et un alcool pourtant à 8 % Abv ne soutenant absolument pas l'ensemble. A réessayer donc et commentaire à ne pas prendre au pied de la lettre. En verre nous avons une blond pâle trouble (EBC aux environs de 13) avec une mousse crémeuse mais de trop abondante (plusieurs centimètres).. Joli nez toutefois, fin et subtil sur la coriandre, le citron, le blé avec une belle fraîcheur houblonnée. La dégustation montre tout autre chose, une présence acidulée marquée, avec à l'attaque une ligne aromatique citron coriandre peu emballante. La deuxième bouche toujours en présence de cette acidité est tout de même légèrement plus houblonnée mais en présence d'un arrière goût médicamenteux. L'arrière bouche est un vrai massacre, acide sur la coriandre et le citron, et absolument pas équilibrée. La troisième bouche quant à elle est linéaire et laisse place à un final à la fois acide et sur une amertume herbacée sur des arômes de coriandre. On n'est même pas dans l'acceptable. J'espère réellement que ma bouteille était altérée.

Nose issweet, floral, spice, biscuit, toffee, fruit esters. Taste comprises tangy dried fruits, toffee, mellow barrel, light spice, sweet tunes. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Fair ... lacks depth for the ABV.

bottle from Leclerc Reims-Champfleury. Hazy pale golden with a tall and fluffy white head. Malty start, yeasty touch with fruity hints and fruity-grassy hops.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is stinky, farty, wood, damp hay, vanilla, honey, candy, toffee apple, intoxicating alcohol, brioche and oak. The taste is tangy, sweet, sugary, apple, melon, candy, white bread, spice, dry wood, hint of vanilla, earth, brandy and toasted grain with a drying finish. Full body and fine carbonation. A bit heavy and sweet for my liking. OK.

Bottle (457/800) at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours hazy sunset orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, orange marmalade, bready, brioche, cake, marzipan, toasted almond, tangy fruits, sherry, sweet white wine, gooseberry, apple and booze. The taste is dry, bitter, tangy, rather fruity, vinous, grape, gooseberry, juicy, sherry, jammy fruit, wood and some warming alcohol through the back-end. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Flavoursome and good depth. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours cloudy reddish – brown with a thick off-white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, malt – driven, woody, oily, toffee, vanilla, oak, dried fruits, caramel, raisin, sultana, bread and tangy jam. The taste is tangy, very fruity indeed, fruit cake, earthy, wood, spice, warming booze, leather, tannin, black tea and cherry blossom with some warmth through the finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Good depth of flavour to it. Interesting and quaffable.
