16 oz can from the brewery, 4/13/21. Canned 4/8/21 (re-released for 2021 since this pandemic ain't going nowhere yet). Pours a fully hazed pale yellowish-orange color with a foamy white head. Melon, peach, and orange all coming through. Some pineapple and pine notes. Drinks fairly juicy, a little sweet, bright, and flavorful.

16 oz can from the brewery, 4/13/21. Pours a clear dark amber color with a sheeting beige head that leaves a ton of lace on the glass. Nice bread / spice / caramel flavors to go along with the bright pine, earth, subtle grapefruit, and just a hint of . Really nice mix of flavors here. Nicely hits a style void that clearly exists in craft beer in 2021, with Nugget Nectar season being over and Winter YuleSmith something I never see these days, I could use a beer like this around my house.

My 100th Carton rating! 16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy yellow gold color. Large frothy beige head leaves lots of clinging lace. Pleasant floral aroma has spicy notes. Citrus flavor upfront with soft wheat malt nuances. Notes of pineapple, grapefruit and passion fruit in middle. Some spiciness in finish including hints of star anise and white pepper. Of all the Turn Up The Hook Remix variations I have tried, this one is the smoothest and most approachable.

Bottle picked up at Carton, 4/12/21. 2020 Version of Carton's Barn Beer, just released a couple weeks ago in 3-packs, and definitely the kind of beer that I'd like to try fresh, with a little time, and with a little more time. Poured this one into my Plan Bee Teku, because Barn Beer. Bright yellow color, white / fizzy head. Earthy and funky, yeast, lemon, and grass. Pear and orange zest as well as like 20 other things I'm not pulling out this time, but there's definitely a lot going on. Drinks bright and funky. Fizzy on the back of the tongue. This beer is a lot of fun to drink.

16 oz can from the brewery, 4/9/21. Pour is somewhat hazy, yellowish-orange, white head, fairly strong lace. Peach, honeydew, candied melon, and a little citrus as well. Definitely on the sweet side, but still rather tasty.

16 oz can from Carton, 4/9/21. Canned 4/8/21. Pretty sure they haven't made this on like 4-5 years, and I know I missed it last time. Fully hazed orange color. Drippy lacework. Lots going on here, with orange zest, some melon, pineapple, grapefruit, and peach. Fruity and a little dank, rind style bitterness. Plenty of juicy sweetness as well. Really hides the booze.

16 ounce can from Circus Wines, Beer & Spirits in Red Bank, NJ. Stellar mahogany brown color topped by a moderate frothy tan head. Earthy roasted malt flavor upfront. Obvious coffee notes as well. Sweet roasted malt flavor upfront. Dark brown sugar, coffee and a touch of cocoa powder linger on the palate. Coffee taste becomes more pronounced as the brew warms. Some stickiness on the tongue. Tasty interpretation of the Doppelbock style. Since my favorite beverages are beer and coffee, this one’s a winner for me.

16 oz can from Carton, 2/25/21. Canned 2/17/21. Pours a dark brown color with a thin, fizzy light brown head. No surprise, this one is all about the coffee on the aroma and taste. There's some chocolate and a little nuttiness in there as well, but the coffee is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Pretty delicious, with excellent coffee flavor complexity.
