Hazy, dullish. Sweetish, fruity, stone fruit, low bitterness. Not finding the terpenes in there...where I'm from that's sometimes all you get in the local terp IPAs.

My 2,500th New Jersey beer rating. Draft at Old Town Pub in Bordentown. Also, number one with a bullet. Hazy yellow gold pour. Creamy white head. Aromas of sweet berries, lime, citrus and tangerine. Flavor is sweet citrus, pineapple, cherry and lemon. Some juiciness in middle. Boozy, peppery notes on backend. Smooth and flavorful. Another Carton crusher!

Carton Will It Melba?
Draft, small pour, at Paragon, 5/1/26. Unclear orange, thin head. Straight sugar water, peach juice, nothing else. Smells pretty good, taste is unbelievably sweet. Fine up front, finishes…yeah, not good.

16 ounce can from Petrock’s Liquors in Hillsborough, NJ. Number one with a bullet. Hazed orange gold color. Pillowy white head is two-fingers high. Aromas of stone fruit and citrus. First sip brings notes of sweet tangerine, lemon and peach. Medium bodied and refreshing. Late notes of crushed pineapple and melon. Wonderful balance and depth.

Draft at Maloney's, 3/16/26. Fully hazy yellowish color, white head, moderate lace. Papaya, passion fruit, and peach. Fairly juicy, somewhat sweet. ABV is noticeable but not overwhelming. Fun beer.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: thoroughly black all the way around the glass and a nice looking two finger eggshell white foamy head. This dissipated to leave some light messy lace.
Aroma: deep, dark and danky piney/resinous hops, some oniony to some hemp-like hops then a deep dark roasty coffee bean quality
Flavor: wraps those prior mentioned aromas together bittersweetly, minor aftertaste of danky hops and coffee beans
Texture: medium to full bodied, only a sipper, piney resin and dankiness is doing what I expected - the slaying of my tongue, that astringency that cannot be avoided in this style but to be honest, I like it and know the purpose of it; and so a dry piney and danky finish is the one finish that tells me "oh palate wrecker, oh palate wrecker, where have you been? I've waited for you for so long and now I've found you!"
Overall: not even sure how much else I need to say about this beer other than of course I would want to have again!

Can to snifter.
Appearance: bronzed yellow transparent color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head and dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet coffee tones with sweet cream
Flavor: sweet through those aromas, mild aftertaste of sweet cream
Texture: medium to full bodied, clearly this is a sipper, some noticeable booziness, smooth on the tongue, finishes sweet and creamy
Overall: I believe Carton did what they were going for and I believe I could come back to.
