Aroma of malts, fruits, creamy caramel, butter, some hops. Flavour is on the sweet side, a bit too sweet for my taste actually. I would have liked this better if the brewer had gone easier on the butter and use more hops instead.

3.0 version. Aroma of sweet malt, vegetables, pumpkin, spices. Flavour is rather sweet. Not very good. 2.0 version. Aroma of malts, pumpkin, vegetables, spices. Flavour is pumpkin, herbal. First pumpkin ale I’ve had, so I can’t compare it to others. Might revisit in time with more experience, I had a touch time with Smoked as well and I came to love that style. 4.0. Slight upgrade.

75cl Bottle at Jopen. Aroma of dark malts, liquorice, spices, dark fruits, cough syrup. Taste is herbal and quite sweet, syrupy with dominant liquorice flavour. I found the sweetness a bit much. Overall though I did enjoy my half of the bottle, but would not drink again,

Hoppy aroma of citrus and some tropical fruits. Flavour is hoppy and fruity with a light to medium bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite fresh and easily drinkable, mission accomplished. Rerate from bottle: Aroma is grassy hops, floral, fruity notes. Flavour is almost medium bitter. Body is light. Enjoyable refreshing session IPA.

Aroma of dark malt, peat, oak, some bourbon, plum, vanilla, liquorice. Flavour is malty and peaty, some vanilla and liquorice sweetness, with a dry finish. I was a little bit disappointed to find liquorice instead of the promised smoke. Still, a nice brew with a good aroma.
