Shaker pint draft at the Martin City Brewing Company. Pour is a golden amber, mostly clear with a nice one inch light tan head. Nice lace coats the glass. Aroma is caramel malt, resin pine hops, earthiness - nicely balanced nose. Taste is the caramel malt up front, then turns to some nice hops - floral and resin come in nicely. Palate medium, a bit heavy for my preference in an IPA, a bit mouth coating, though that clears as it hits the pleasant bitter finish.

Clear dark brown beer. Palate is slightly dry. Nicely balanced. Smooth malt that has a vague nutty flavour. The hops are not too aggresive and provide a sweet peachy orange as well. A little bit different. Finishes sweet and tangy. Subtle pleasures!

Bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black with light tan head. Nose of dark malt, hops, caramel and wood. Taste is also woody. A bit muted. Lots of dark malt and herbs. Good herbal feel to it.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is caramel malts with a little roasted nuts. Flavor is a little roasted malt but kinda watery in the end. Again I don’t know what hemp seeds taste like so I don’t know if they add anything to the beer. Average brown ale.

Plenty of caramel malts in this one. Light toasted malt, some sugary sweetness, and light hops in the aroma. Flavor follows along the same lines. Medium, smooth mouth. Deep caramel/amber color. Solid.

Bottle. Pours dark red brown with medium off white head. Much lacing. Aroma is grass and wet rope. Malty taste, full bodied, with an unpleasant rope finish. This would have been much better without the hemp.
