(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 28 Sep 2012) Pale yellow colour with no head. Floral, fruity nose with notes of grass, green apples and pears. Fruity, floral taste with birch leaves, apples and pears. There’s a fresh character of semi-sweet white wine as well. Almost full body, with a balanced sweetness. Quite nice.

Fruity, floral taste with notes of honey, grass, flowers and a spicy bitterness coming through in the finish. Almost full body, with a balanced sweetness. Quite nice, with leaning in the Belgian triple direction.

Bottled. Pinkish amber colour with no head. Aroma is big time lingonberry with some sweetish honeylike notes balancing the sourness up. Flavour is lingonberry tartness and sourness mixed with sweet honey and some slight spicyness. Rather bodied and quite thick feel to it. Yet smooth. Feels like a bit more than just 9.2 %.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Slightly hazy golden colour with no head. Aroma is floral, some rather sweet fruityness as well as some mild berries. Flavour is floral, honeylike, some mild toffee as well as quite sweet. Quite mouthdrying as well.

Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Aroma is bigtime honey and herbal notes with mild grassyness as well. Flavour is honey, some mild spices and quite big on the herbal notes. Quite dry mead with some mild wine like notes.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and some roasted malts along with mild honey. Flavour is wood, roasted malts, some honey, chocolate and mild ashy notes. Mild bitterness meeting honey sweetness in the aftertaste. Thick and pleasant.

Bottled. Rather watery/yellow pale colour with no head. Aroma is some sweet honey along with mild apples, cinnamon and some balanced random spicyness. Flavour is rather similar in a quite nice and mellow way. Easy to drink mead, with a bit thinner palate than the other Mjödhamnens I have had.
