Just going to do the quick version of this variant.
Can to snifter.
This beer is a variant of "Void of Life" which I previously had.
Aroma and flavor obviously have the maple and bacon adding in sweet and meaty/ham-like qualities.
Texture is NOT cloying due to the possibility of the maple being overdone. So very smooth along tongue
Overall: think winter campfire beer, end of story. Pure awesomeness!

Bottle from Seven Seasons Craft, Hoxton. Aromas of caramel, toffee, molasses, sultanas, cola. Rich gullet warming flavours of caramel cake, red apple, butterscotch, toffee, oak, molasses, dark jammy fruits, maple, cinnamon. Oodles of alcohol heat. Cracking stuff.

Old rating from 2016 - Pint from the tap in New York City. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of pineapple, pine, citrus, white grape, peach, wood & biscuit. Medium body. Moderate bitter finish

From tap at The Pony Bar, New York. Aroma is lots of ripe apricot with passion fruit, peach, pretty sturdy grainy malt backbone. Hops providing some more fruity notes. Tart flavour, mild bitter. Nice apricot assault.

Can from Beerdome. Amazing roasty coffee aroma with espresso, chocolate, cold coffee. Pretty bitter flavour with a light sweetness. Medium body. Great Coffee Stout, so intense and roasty, exactly the way I like it.

Draught @ Gun Hill Publick House, Brooklyn (Jan 2025). Dark brown with red highlights, small foamy beige head, caramel aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste with toffee flavor, thin body, long finish. Mellow but not bad.

On tap. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has straw with a bit of earthy hay and a bit of wet leaves supporting. Flavor has a nice straw with some hay, grain and leaves backing.
