Pours a hazy burnt caramel into a Sam glass. Head never establishes and forms a subtle hug of the rim. Caramel apple aromas. Dry with sweet caramel and sweet candied apples. A bit too sweet, but might be interesting to create a dessert with it.

bottle - Pours hazy brown with a small, rapidly fading head. The aroma is of brown apples and a little alcohol. It tastes of sweet apples with some brown apples character and an unusual (for a cider) caramel/molasses quality. Pretty good.

can - This cider has a rich apple aroma and a mildly tart apple flavor that leads into a somewhat dry finish. It still seemed sweet to me, but as ciders go I guess it’s not as sweet as most. That, in my opinion, is a good thing.

Bomber from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a very hazy lemon yellow with a nearly nonexistent head that fades quickly. Aroma of dry apples with an earthy note reminiscent of sake. The taste is apples, melons, citrus, vanilla. The sake yeast really comes through in a big way and I think it works well. Fairly dry overall with a bit of sweetness. Low carbonation. Tasty cider.

Bomber. Pours hazy copper with no head. Aroma is nutty, butterscotch--odd. Taste is almost cloying sweet, weird. The nutty butterscotch flavors overpower the apples almost. At first I thought it was going to be a drainpour, but it started to grow on me a little bit, oddly enough.

On tap. Pours with a hazy straw yellow body with a somewhat lasting white head. Aromas are sweet, apple sauce, jammy with some interesting aromatics. Green apple, grassy, estery, light barrel. Sweet overall. Flavors are herbal, a bit of sage, and sweet apple. Light bubbles, a bit sticky.
