Description
Three Notch’d Brewing Company was conceived by three friends who value great beer and great times, with close family and friends. Each of us has a great appreciation for individualism, respect for hard work and earning our ability to give back to the communities we live in. We opened our doors for commercial operation in August of 2013 and work each day to Leave Our Mark on the craft brew industry and Charlottesville, VA by making great beer and collaborating with all lovers of the craft beer industry. We hope that you will join us and Leave Your Mark, too.

Odd, ghostly white hued very light golden coloured body with a very thick four to five centimetre tall ultra-white head that caps the beer nicely with a great microfoam on top of the twenty five per cent opaque nice light gold glow. Aroma of crisp, limey, wheatie a nd very nice briney qualities that are very reminiscent of any real gose - very nice in the nose! Light-bodied; Crisp, limey, slightly wheatie and especially briney, salty flavours show at first with a subdued sweetness that almost bring out a 7-Up, Sprite or even Squirt-like flavour, but the slightly salt and tarter lime flavours help out with that at the end. Aftertaste is nice, light and showing good flavours throughout, with a lot of limes, wheat and more brine than anything else, without anything fake or cardboardie and nothing really Non-Alcoholic about this, in a great way - it tastes like a real gose - this would be great in the summertime while trying to stay away from alcohol - perhaps the best Non-Alcoholic product that I've had this entire month - great to have on an 80 degF day here in March, glad I saved it for a great time to enjoy during my N/A month! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Fairfax, Virginia on 18-September-2022 for US$2,33 (as part of a mixed six pack), canned on 29-June-2022 with an 'enjoy by' date of 26-December-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 23-March-2023.

Ridiculously hazy, deep and chunky amber coloured body with some hints of a gold tint through the haze, but a very large, five centimetre tall off-white microfoamed head that's nice above the 95 per cent opaque body. Aroma of mangoes, papaya, flowers, chamomile tea, oranges, alcohol, syrup and a good deal of wheat and oat malts - quite a bit in the nose, here. Full-bodied; Super rich, chewy mouthfeel with a lot of the papaya and mango notes that seem to add to the body and depth here, with a ton of orange, bitter grapefruit and resinous pungency from the hops seem to define this, but the strong malt notes do provide enough backbone here, with a lot of alcohol and residual sugars, too. Aftertaste is super rich throughout - relatively straight forward, but again, packing a lot of punch, so this lasts a long time, but does show the same profile as the taste. Overall, a very nice, incredibly rich IPA that gets Imperial Status thanks to the fruit notes, pungent hops and deep malt bill and still stays just about drinkable throughout - perhaps aside from this stupid sized packaging that I can't imagine anyone drinking this 'normally'! This one was nice to have very fresh for a great price, locally! I sampled this [huge] 19,2 ounce tall can, purchased from Giant Food in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 22-September-2022 for US$3,00, canned on 07-September-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-November-2022.
