16 oz can. Poured a clear yellow-orange color with a small, off-white head. Aroma was pineapple, lots of peach. Initial aroma was a bit off-putting when the can first opened, not sure why. The aroma improved greatly after that first hit. Flavor was a pleasant blast of peach, pineapple, grapefruit. Leafy hop?

Taster pour at RVA taproom. Dark golden pour with a mild haze. Aroma is fruity with light floral notes. Taste adds some sweet caramel flavors, piney, fruity and floral. A bit of bitterness lingers on the tongue.

Taster at Three Notch'd RVA. Medium amber/ brown pour, spotty head. Light roasty aroma, burnt toast. Taste is gentle roast with a thin feel, spot on for the style. This would make a great cask offering.

Super crisp, golden and peach coloured body with a thick, frothy, off-white head, about four to five centimetres in height. Aroma of crisp grassy and herbal notes with some light bitterness noticeable and a fairly pungent and dank dose of resin and pine, showing a PNW vibe, in the nose at least. Light-bodied; Crisp, grassy, floral and very herby notes dominate with a lot of flowers and bitterness with the pine showing through, as well as the pineapple and slightly tropical fruit notes that give this even more complexity. Aftertaste is quite dry, very grassy, herbal, without being overly done in any respect, but showing a lot fo hops for such a small package and a ton of complexity and range for being a step above a low alcohol beer! Overall, great to sample, and I remember when I was buying it, I was thinking - 'what am I doing and why would I buy such a low alcohol IPA', but this far exceeded my expectations and was a very nice beer that should be attempted to be found, if you like Light IPAs! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 09-September-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-October-2020.
