Draft at the source. Cloudy pale yellow color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma is bright and lemony. Taste is fresh lemon on raw bread dough. Delicious.

Draft at the source. Dark brown color. Aroma of burnt coffee grounds. Taste is very roasty coffee and cocoa. Nice.

Draft at the source. Hazy to cloudy deep golden color, thick white head with solid lacing. Very fruity aroma with apricot and peach. Taste is funky and fruity. Very nice.

Draft at the brewery, 8/26/14.. Pours a clear pale golden with a thin creamy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of blueberry Smarties and pale malt. The taste is tart blueberries, pale malt, mild doughy malt and mild spicy hops. Thin-mediuim bodied.

Draft at the Harrisonburg location. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pale malt, corn, floral notes, citrus, honey. Taste is pale malt, corn, floral notes, mild grassy hops. Medium bodied, crisp, decent balance. I’m not 100% convinced this wasn’t the cream ale but they insisted this was the kolsch, so here we are.

Draft at the Harrisonburg location. Pours a clear copper with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, burnt sugar, caramel, floral hops. The taste is caramel, toffee, floral, resin and citrus hops. Medium bodied.

Draft at the brewery, 8/5/14. Pours a clear ruby with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of rye, graham cracker, dark fruits. The taste is rye, dark fruits, bread, graham cracker, mild ginger and citrus. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Draft at the Charlottesville location, 7/29/14. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of melon, tropical, herbal hops, almost dank. Honey and pale malt. The taste is citrus, tropical, melon hops, pale malt, honey. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness, well balanced.
