Tap at Bungalow. Lightly spicy, caramel and orange. Bit of bitterness. Nice enough. Aroma has light citrus.

Tap at Raku. Creamy, lots of wheat, light banana, peach fruity. Full bodied. Very fruity at the finish. Good stuff. Cherry maybe.

Tap at Ant and Bee. Orange amber colour, slightly cloudy, thick creamy white head. Aroma is interesting, slightly citrus, cream, banana, wheat and a touch of funk. Taste is great, typical Weizen wheatiness, and banana creaminess, but with a little bit of sourness too. Very nice. Slight prickle in the mouth.

Tap at Craft House Kyoto. Pale gold, clear, with a low head. Malty, notes of something like jasmine rice, noble hops. Somewhat corny, from the rice, sweet, rather light. hops don't really shine. Well made but light and ricy and not near as good as their regular pilsner.

On tap pours out cola brown color topped with a sand head. Nose is camp fire smoke rich grain malts some grassy hops. Taste is more of the nice smoke kick a little meat wood and earthy hops.

Tap @ Craft Beer Bar Marciero, Osaka. Hazy orange pour with white head on top. Cloves and yeast spice in the nose, some light acidity, wheaty for sure. Medium body, flavourful, lots of esters. Good and in the style.

Tap at Bungalow where this amber-brown beer was topped by a light beige head and had a nutty, bready, caramel aroma. Pretty light bodied but crisp and drinkable, the taste matched the nose with added chocolate malt notes. Sweet without being cloying. Pretty good.

Keg at Ant ’n Bee - Tokyo. ABV noted at 5.5%. Pours clear yellow with a tight, creamy white head. The aroma holds crisp cereal, a little dough, white bread. Light sweet flavour with soft bitter hay, nips of grass, lemon meringue. Light bodied, smooth, with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, some further pale bread, straw, biscuits. Very easy drinking pils.

Draft - Lots of grains. Clear gold with a decent white head. Decent grains and a mellow finish. Solid and a bit dry.
