Bottle into a snifter showing well filtered pale to deep gold with very sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of very round pine with a light bready malt backbone. Upon warming up more notes of tea and orange appear. The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. Moderately intense flavours of pine with mid-palate of bready malt. Finish showing a moderately sharp IPA bitterness.

Pounder can stamped Cleveland Gladiators. This can gushed all over my table, even after tapping the top before popping. piss me off. First palate impression is lots of co2, whew, very good cutting co2; makes this hop laden brew different than most IPL. Yes, its not trying to be IPA, fer sher, I like that, but, it does have lots of hop presence. Probably because of the low alky content, it doesn’t get in yer face. I like that too. Better than expected, reminds me of the carbonation found in many great divide beers. Yes, there is a lot of hops, but again, its is hoppy, and quite refreshing as well considering its IPL hop content. Yes, IMHO a little better than most highly hopped brews.

12 oz bottle, sent over by Jeff. Thanks! A nice little surprise here. A cola black pour with a lasting cream tan foam head. A ton of roasted character in this. A bold roasted malt first impression. Cool and creamy body, this beer has a ton going on. Toasty, hoppy, creamy, sweet, bitter. Very impressive Black IPA to say the least. Delicious hoppy porter here. Loved it.
