The Brew Kettle Brewery has been producing award winning beers and serving the craft beer community since 1995. Over the years we have expanded numerous times to meet the demands of our customers but the goal has always been to brew consistently stellar beer. 12 ounce bottle from the brewery, shared at the Aug. 2016 Monticello Dairy Bottle Share, 8/1/16. Clear copper, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of brown sugar, toffee, citrus, mild booze. The taste is toffee, cherries, booze, caramel, vanilla. Medium bodied, lingering booze.

I hate Mosaic hops so that impacts this rating. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a reddish-caramel color with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter and tart with cactus, catbox and pine notes. The flavor was tangy and sweet with catbox, cactus, lemon and pine. Long finish. Full bodied. Not my style.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was faint but a bit toasty with bread crust and a hint of fruity hops. The flavor was bitter with almost crystal malt, tobacco, dark fruit and perfume. Long perfumey finish. Medium body. Not good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a copper color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy with a bit of vague fruits. The flavor was tangy, a bit malty and a touch bready and grainy with a hint of fruity hops. Medium length finish that turned a bit dry. Medium body. Not good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was woody and malty with hints of smoke and red meat. The flavor was woody and bready with a touch of smoke and red meat. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Meh.

The aroma was bitter and tangy with a perfumey hop presence. The flavor was bitter and malty with a bit of yeast and an astringent, medicinal presence. Long finish. LIght to medium body. Meh.

The flavor was bitter with notes of bread crust, crystal malt and a hint of cherry. Medium length finish. Medium body and smooth. Meh.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a red-caramel color with a large creamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish with vague berries and red sweedish fish. The flavor was strong sweet raspberry jam followed by vanilla and table sugar. Medium length finish. Full bodied and smooth. Well done.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark copper color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar, yeast, peach, pear and white grape. The flavor was tangy and very sweet with notes of table sugar, peach, apricot, pear, white grape, yeast and a bit of mustiness. A hint of booziness. Long finish. Full bodied and smooth. Outstanding.
