Clear golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet-tart lime, salty wheat and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a mildly tart and salty lime aftertaste. Decent overall.

3$ can from vintage estate. Pour is rich viscous bad-ass black with a choco-moose head. Nose is malty dark brew. First taste is so impressive, its so big and so bad, its large and in charge. Burnt malty flavors permeate the whole gambit of taste sensations. Quite an impact. So over the top its down the side. Whew a 'way too much beer for me' experience. Glass has legs. Giant whirlpool of counterblast waves thru my mouth. A bit of a warming sensation down my throat and into my belly. Oh me oh my oh - this stuff just kicked my ass. Intense but difficult for this lager lover. Except for its numbing sensation, this stuff probably will never be drunk by me again. TOOO MUCH

Cool looking can for two bucks. Tho pour looks bright bubbly and refreshing. Nose is a little metallic initially. FaIrly decent co2 level on the palate but could use more for this style. First impression of taste is somewhat odd mild spice and some dull, perhaps lime peel, effects. Not as refreshing as it looks, unfortunately. Not bad but I am a little disappointed as a fan of clean fresh Mexican lagers.

Red can says 9 on it. Orange glow? I din't know but it is kind a brown pale orange. Smell of fruity orange hops permeates the environment. Head is half inch crag. Taste is rude bitter bullshit, typical IPA. Perhaps a little more bitter than most impy IPA it kind of treads into over the top IPA territory. Difficult and strong volatile liquid. I'm going to say this has a bitter aftertaste that just will not quit, its ruining my taste buds for at least an hour of so. Yes, one nasty volatile brew of a beer. It starts to thicken and get rather viscous as the session continues. Do you like chewing on rotting green grapefruit rinds mixed with pine tar and then sprinted with turpentine all spread across sappy spruce bark with a little hand soap added? A terribly one sided unbalanced mess. There, you have it. Way too many IPA out there that all taste exactly the same. How about some real beer, without preservatives for a change?

Quarantine Beer #020 sampled at home on 03/16/2020. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium thick frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of coffee, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of roast coffee, citrusy hops and malt. The finish is roasty with a coffee and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

From a $2 can it smells like regular old beer. Pale yellow with a big foamy head. Taste is mostly ale with a layer of coffee in there. It takes a few moments for the coffee to seep thru. Decent carbonation. In the middle some rude hops start surfacing and towards the end it even starts to get astringent after the coffee settles in and won't go away. Yea, a little rude overall. Coffee does nothing for the enjoyability of the session. Almost as bad as a poorly made IPA. JMHO

Black and sea green can from chalet. Perhaps the olfactory of some tropical fruits in the nose. Taste is a little bit of odd fruit and a little bit of salt. Somewhat like a fruit flavored gose. Color is off yellow clear pale. Taste is mellow down thru the middle. Easy going. Quite decent and well behaved. Liking this. Its not really over the top in fru-fru-fruitiness. Yes, an almost tart beer but not to the level of a wild. Hard to find the alky in here but it certainly has some attributes of lager beer. In the end, it does not seem to have any additional sugar added. An even keel fruit beer.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Dark reddish-mahogany color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and spice in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, maple, spiced fruit and malt. The finish is oaky with a sweet maple and bourbon aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

$2 can from vintage, served from a can into a big tall widmer glass. Clear pale. Not much of an impressive olfactory. Taste is 4.5% fer sher but it does have a sensible civility more common of a gose. Yes, maybe even a fruit beer. Middle could be a little less processed. Now I'm gonna say its leaving gose in the finish. Not quite the lemonade feel you get with a typical shandy of radler. Pretty good co2 to the end. There, you have it.

Bottle 2$ at vintage. So, how many cedar point beers are there? LOTS! This is a shandy. Pours clear pale with a big giant head, foaming. Goes rocky. Somewhat metallic smell, must be the glass. The carbonation on the first drag is quite cutting and creamy. NICE first impressions. I didn't have much hope for this but now that I'm getting into it, its pretty darn good, very refreshing. Not overdone on the shandy end of things and its more like a very refreshing civilized mild kolsch or a mexican lager. Wouldn't know its mango, its more like a drop of lemon. Yes, every swig is quite nice.In the end, it does start to show its shandy character, but this stuff is alright by me, thanks BK! Overall good beer rating experience.
