Kinda muddy light brown. Thin head. Has a nice - if inexplicable - smokey nose. On the palate, this is sweet with a touch of old ale toffeeness, barrel, touch of tartness. Odd, awkward beer.

Cloudy tan. Thin head. Light fruit nose. Tart, has a vague fruitiness. Sort of mango, but by no means the finest...I mean itβs not that bright.

Draught at St. Augustineβs, Vancouver, 4.8% ABV
Hazy light amber color. Simple ale, enough malt backbone and body, moderately sweet, enough bitterness, but with no Bitter character, and with tiny traces of butter, mostly in the nose.
Ok beer.

Golden color. Some acetic acid, specifically no mango, but there is some lingering fruitiness, and mild astringent final. Good.

Draft - Very hard to describe, some red fruit and light peat. Cloudy Amber gold with a decent beige head. Cheese and peat, much like the nose. Very odd.

Draft - Mango and some grainy funk. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Dried mango and some soured malts. Decent, but not juicy or fresh.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours opaque cloudy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is rather earthy and peated, with wood barrel note, armpits and bready malt. Flavour is very unusual, with strange peaty smoke character, armpits, earthy tones and dry bready malt. The peat is odd and rather herbal on the finish. Strange.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderate mango juiciness and light lacto. Flavour is bright and fresh, with lots of mangoes, moderate tartness, and a touch of lacto that is perfectly situated. Nothing overly complex and deep, but everything is harmonious and the palate is easy. Very good.

650ml bottle. Pours a hazy red-brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, caramel, bread, nuts and raisins. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, molasses, dark fruit and nuts with a bitter, metallic finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.
