(swing top bottle) Hazy, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, malty and slightly sweaty hoppy aroma with mildly fruity accents of citrus. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Dry-ish and a tad slim malty base with citric and slightly resiny hops, accompanied by notes of black tea; dry and mildly hop bitter, slightly resiny and delicately fruity finish. 30.VI.17

(swing top bottle, as Vielanker Craft Beer Stout, 4.9% abv) Dark brown, nearly black coloured hue with a ruby shine and a brown and firm medium-sized foamy head. Mildly roasted and delicately nutty malty aroma with notes of milk chocolate, mocha, leather and vanilla. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost creamy carbonation. Dry roasted and slightly nutty malt character with notes of chocolate, mocha, oat and vanilla; moderately bitter and roast-malty finish with notes of chocolate and oat in the aftertasste. Slightly sugary and moderately toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, nutty accents and hints of butter, vanilla and a fruity touch of dried fruits/figs. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter-tart flavour, rather light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slim and slightly toasted malty base with notes of caramel, bread crusts, traces of chocolate and leather; sweet-bitter finish with slightly toasted, subtle fruity and spicy notes. Likeable. 09.VI.17
