bottle from bierpost.com. Golden with an amber glow, tall off-white head and surprising fruity hop aroma, almost IPA-like. Not a lot of dark malts, more on the pale side, lots of fruity hops, very shy biscuity hints and a shy touch of caramel. Different than expected, but really very nice. A pleasant fruity-hoppy lager.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, reddish, dark brown colour with small to average, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Minimally sugary, caramel malty aroma with a nutty touch of hazelnut, nougat, cautious hints of malt lozenge, rock sugar, a doughy yeasty touch, hoppy overtones with earthy hints of red berries. Taste is minimally dry, earthy, nutty dark malty, grassy, leafy, minimally fruity hoppy ovetones with a touch of red berries, tobacco, cautious hints of Brazil nut, hazelnut, nougat; light, slightly watery, So-so.

Optisch trübes Rotbraunes, in der Nase hauptsächlich malzig. Im Trunk leichte Frucht, dann Karamell, malzig, leicht bitter, süffig, passt.

Fles 50cl gedeeld in Stralsund. Roasted malts, caramel, hazelnoot, wat droog, hoptonen. Zoet maar ook wat bittertonen. Klein beetje dun. (26-8-2018).

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice, a touch of cappuccino. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and slightly bitter hoppy, hints of coffee; lingering roasty finish, super soft, smooth and silky palate.

Clear, very dark red brown. Beige head. Roasted aroma, coffee and milk choc. Roasted malt, coffee and milk chocolate flavour. Faint sourish note in the finish, but overall pretty decent and straightforward stout.
