“Vielanker Brown Ale“, Flasche (50 cl) von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Dunkelrotbraun, trüb. - In der Nase warmes Toast- und Dunkelmalz von würziger Tiefe und dezente fruchtige Herbe (Trockenobst). - Antrunk kräftig dunkelmalzig mit Karamel und Kakao und aromatischer, kräuteriger Hopfung (Tettnanger, Wai-iti und Rakau meldet das erfreulich informative Etikett). Dezente Malzsüße. Mild rezent, schlank, schön trocken. Im Abgang kräftige krautige Herbe, latent säuerliche Note. Derb bitterer Nachtrunk. - Angenehmes aber noch etwas unrundes Brown Ale.

500ml bottle. Slightly milky, orangey dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Husky malty aroma, a touch of oat flakes, cautious fruity hints of apple, a spicy touch of hay. Taste is dry, husky, malty, a grassy-spicy touch of hay.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, dusty, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, grain, hay - straw, dusty, light caramel, buttery notes. 500ml swing-top bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. A remaining off-white head to a cloudy brownish body. Spotty lacing. Smell of grainy malts, mid-sweet. Moderate taste profile of bread, dough and mid-sweet caramel malts. Mid-sweet malt driven finish. Satisfying without further excitements. “Vielanker Amber Lager“, Flasche (50 cl) von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Dunkelgoldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase floraler Hopfen mit leichter hopfenwürziger Schärfe über angenehmem Toastmalz. - Antrunk schlank toastmalzig mit fruchtig-herber, “englisch“ anmutender Hopfung. Dezent malzsüß, zart karamellig. Mild rezent, sehr schlank aber noch nicht dünn, leicht trocken. Abgang etwas blaß. - Schönes Wiener Lager mit feiner Hopfung.
