Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Nose is sweet grain and caramel. Flavor is dust and caramel with some oxidized notes. Mouldy . .

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Herman. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze with a small off-white head. Roasted malt in the nose, but also quite some mold. Medium body, roasted malt and caramel - again some fustiness. Very subdued bitterness. Couldv’e been decent without the mold. 290111

Mäßig malzig-schokoladiger Antrunk, der auftretende Hopfen wirkt leider eher plörrig. Nach und nach verbessert sich diese Situation, der Hopfen wirkt natürlicher und angenehm im Hintergrund. Der Abgang ist dann aber wieder sehr schwach, wässrig, das Malz hat hier kaum noch das Sagen, dafür hat eine unpassende Bitternote eingesetzt. Test vom 28.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,9,8,8,-,8

Hopfig-würziger Antrunk, bereits hier leicht bitter. Dieser Ton wird kräftiger, besonders die bittere Note nimmt zu, die anderen Aromen erwirken eine gewisse Vollmundigkeit. Etwas malziger wird es im Mittelteil, die dominierende Note ist aber bitter-hopfig. Nicht sehr abwechslungsreich aber sonst ganz nett. Test vom 28.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 4,11,10,11,-,11

Bottle swing top 50cl @ Home.[ Trade with Maria ]. Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lancing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee - mocca. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Bitternes is malt burnt - chocolate / coffee bitter. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (080608)

Draught at BBF07. Weak liquorice aroma. Black colour. Small, creamy, light brown head. The flavour is quite roasted with barley bitterness. Hint of liquorice and bread. Good mouthfeel.

Draught ad the Berliner beer festival.Black with dark brown head.Aroma of rosted bred and herbal,spicy and hoppy flavor and short finish.

Draught. Cloudy red/brown colour. Small white head. The aroma is sourish, but with nice, spicy hops. The flavour is spicy and roasted. Quite nice, but the bitterness is rather rough. 7 3 7 3 16

Bottle, 5.0%. Papery and hop spicy aroma. Clear brown colour. Good stable frothy off-white head. The flavour is malty, slightly caramelly with a good spicy hop note. 7 3 7 3 16

Draught. OK banana aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Big, stable creamy white head. Distinct banana flavour, quite bitter, but OK. Nice, but I would prefer less bitterness.

Draught. Sweet, spicy, roasted aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small head. Roasted flavour, nicely balanced with sweetness. 7 4 7 4 17

Bottle, 5.5%. Sweetish and roasted aroma. The flavour is mildly roasted with a little sweetness. Malty dark bread notes. Late bitterness, good and cleansing. 7 3 7 3 17
