Arco olfattivo dominato dallo speziato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera molto elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con qualche bollicina grande. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è lunga e persistente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, nocciole tostate, frutta secca, fiori, agrumi, arancia amara, mandarino, cannella, erbe aromatiche, ciliegia, caramello, liquirizia, uva passa, vaniglia e legnoso.
