Tap at the brewpub. Murky dark brown body, off white head. Dark caramel aroma, lean. Similar taste, treacle, dark caramel, quite lean, ending minerally with some peppery hoppiness. Tasty really, better than its components.

Tap at the brewpub, where their idea of small beer is 0.4l. Well great. That's one douchebag way of getting rid of stocks. Anywho. Lovely misty dark amber body, not quite ruby but why not. Off white head. Caramelly-dark malts-rye bread in the aroma, lean, sweetish, fine. Soft very soft body, subdued rye/caramel notes, with weird minerally-herbal notes that are partly from hops I guess. I mean, chuggable, okay, but imperfect.
