Look: foggy amber colour, decent head of off-white colour. Nose: caramel malt, sunflower oil, candied fruit, esters. Fairly sweet. Taste: much drier, caramel malts also present, dried fruit, wort, sunflower oil, no hop presence so far. Maybe just a tiny bit in aftertaste. Palate: medium body. Average carbonation. Short ending. Generally: a bland a mostly mass market oriented beverage.

Botella 25 CL de Queens Valladolid tomada en Valladolid 16..02..2020. Color dorado pálido cobrizo con espuma blanca que desaparece al poco tiempo casi por completo. Sabores maltosos y cereales con buena dosis de dulces aunque sin llegar a empalagar demasiado, ligero amargo seco herbal al final. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio y bastante sabor, fina y buena densidad. Un descubrimiento en el mindo barley wine nacional. Para repetir sin duda.

Botella 25 CL en Queens Valladolid 16..02.. 2020. Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco tiempo casi por completo. Sabores intensos maltosos tostados con toques de cacaos y suaves vainillas y café. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio y bastante sabor, fina y buena densidad. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda.

Botella 33 CL en el Múnich Valladolid 23..01..2020. Color dorado anaranjado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores msltosos y cereales con toques afrutados algo dulces y ligeros lupulados que tiran algo a maduros. Cuerpo ligero a medio fácil de beber. No se notan mucho el alcohol. Resulta algo áspera y seca al final Buena, para repetir.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Sweet-ish, pale malty and citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of mandarine and orange, husky overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally grainy and strawy, pale malty, slightly citrusy hoppy, diluted hints of mandarine and orange. Watery texture, soft palate, soft to flat carbonation. Not bad, but a bit watery and with slightly insipid character.

Rocky white head stayed on a hazy dark golden body. Minimal aroma of unknown fruit. Medium bodied, aerous in the mouth with a cloying back. Sweet citrus, hoppy, confectionery, peach & melon tastes.
