I was pleasantly surprised with this beer. The taste is really refreshing, wheat, banana, cloves, better to drink not so cold to enjoy it, 26.10.16, purchased at Madrid.

In my opinion, it is a really good imperial stout, regarding the price. The taste is really pleasant, roasted malt, licor, coffee, hop, 26.10.16

It is a classical amber, I was thinking a little smocked due to the spanish ham but it was not the case, 23.10.17, Cerro del Aguila, purchased at the Alcampo.

Second rate for this beer, not bad at all, better than the first time, in my point of view. This one is a lager, brewed rather on the American way, malty, dry, hoppy, bitterness on the way of an American ale, fruity, drinking it at San Juan de Mairena, 19.02.24, buying it at the Alcampo, Sevilla.

From the Alcampo, Sevilla, opening this bottle, yesterday, relax, at my rented flat, San Juan de Mairena. A good and original ipa, subtle, well balanced, malty, smooth, flavour of toffee, resinous, fruity, bitter and citrus, refreshing, 16.02.24

Jens Smagning 13/06/2024 - roasted and sweet malty with notes of cocoa and caramel, some coffee roast, full body, bourbon infused finish. Good stuff.

Bottiglia. Un arco olfattivo dominato da affumicato e miele. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. La parte liquida appare limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione è vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, cereali, erba, agrumi e affumicato.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto da lievito e resina. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, pompelmo e ananas.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, St. Nicolaasga. Aroma is roasted malt with salted liquorice, dark chocolate, caramel, and a touch of char/smoke. Flavour is sweet with a good roasty bitterness. Body is full. A bit too heavy on the liquorice for it to be a true winner, but definitely a nice Stout.
