33cl bottle - Pours a clear amber colour with an average sized foamy off-white head. Aroma is malty with some light caramel and fruity notes. A sweetish taste light on bitterness, sweet malts, caramel and bready flavours and a hint of hops.

Day 8 of the Beer Hawk Advent Calendar on Day 9. Aroma combines smoke with yeasty sweetness. Opaque amber. Thin foamy translucent white head soon recedes. The flava matches the aroma. The sweetness is to the fore. The smokiness is there but restrained, it adds a bitter tang. Medium bodied. Flat-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Slightly too sweet perhaps but overall nice enough.
