Bottle picked up from Markgrafen-Getränkemarkt, Bodenmais consumed at home Sunday 18th January 2026, listening to Snocaps - Snocaps, we had an Indian meal of Chicken Chasni, Rajma, Puri, Indian Arancini balls. Pours mid/dark brown with a beige head, soft mouthfeel, light caramel, light bitterness, quite good.

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Bodenmais and consumed at home Saturday 22nd June 2024 listening to the newly released album by Pepe Deluxe - Comic Sonix. It's a Greek night tonight, Souvlaki, Village Sausage (a wonderful long Sausage from Greece), Tsatsiki, homemade Pittas, Saganaki and Dakos Salad, on the wood oven in the garden. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head l. Fruity and a pleasant maltiness, seems to tick all the Helles boxes, pleasant hoppiness but gentle, nice bite, light sweet maltiness throughout. Good.

On tap at the taproom, Friday 21st June 2024, we were sat outside. Very soft mouthfeel, pours warm gold, hazy, nice spritzy carbonation to this, excellent banana and a little clove. A particularly good example of a Hefe Weiße.

Bottle at the taproom, Friday 21st June 2024, we were sat outside. Very soft mouthfeel, a little caramel with the banana. Appearance is dark brown, hazy, like this, it's a nice dunkelweizen.

On tap at the taproom, Friday 21st June 2024, we're sat outside. Pours gold with a mid sized white head. Soft mouthfeel, malty, a little on the sweet side but very pleasant, hoppiness is muted but noted. A very enjoyable helles, so much so that I had three of them and at €3 20 fantastic value.

Bottle picked up in Netto, Zwiesel, Friday 12th January 2024 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music after a wonderful winter loop hike today, we started by heading up from Zwieslerwaldhaus to Kleiner & Größer Falkenstein and back via Ruckowitzberg. Pours clear gold with a white head, nice bite, dry finish, I drank it too quickly to provide a quality review but it believe me it was a very good beer.

Hellgolden strahlend mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malzig, blumig, etwas Frucht (insbesondere auch ein kleiner Hauch von roten und dunklen Beeren), florale Bitternoten. Ein Anflug von Eisen wabert im Hintergrund kurz vorbei. Trotz guter Bitternoten ist das Bier eher auf der süßen Seite einzuordnen. Wunderbar weich und voll, obwohl gar nicht mal so wenig Kohlensäure drin ist. Das Bier hat nen eigenen Charakter und hohen Wiedererkennungswert. Gefällt mir.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty, dry. More and more yeasty-grainy. Light fruity notes of banana, some dried fruits. Finish well balanced. Not too sweetish. Quite drinkable. Nice!
