PET bottle from Billa Lužiny. Drank from a TeKu glass as this delectable example of Czech traditional brewing probably never was since it was first made. Ruby-brown clear(ish) body, off-white head. So far so okay.... But then the smell hits you - acetaldahyde (green apple) mixing with yeastiness, maybe some strange grainy touches... thankfully thin though, but amateurish. The taste is thankfully thin too as it continues on along the same route. Tired yeastiness mixing with green apple, saved from utter failure by a silky mouthfeel - its only redeeming features. So flawed it's amusing - why was this even released in this shape and form? Ends in a void, no bitterness, no anything with acetaldahyde making a teeny tiny wave goodbye before everything's gone for good. Beers like this make me sad. :(

Bottle pours out brown amber topped with a tan head. Nose is rich malts sweet caramel some wet cardboard. Taste is more of the sweet malts nutty notes and some paper.

1.5ll (plastic, so romantic) bottle from the big Billa in Letná. Coppery clear brownish body, fleeting off white head. Sweetish Okay light perfumey, slightly leathery, dry, sweetish, slightly corky. Okay really generic red lager. Almost no bitterness, okay carbonation. Generic but fine. And for 30kč.
