I was sure early on in this tournament that Italy was gonna be the team to beat. They proved me right and absolutely dominated the Euros. Salute, Italia! 🇮🇹🤌

14 September 2020. At Little Italy, Verona. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear amber with a slowly dissipating, tan head. Aroma of caramel, raisin, red apple, peanut, dried plum, cake. Taste has sweet raisin, apple & caramel, a bit nutty, herbal, some sourish fruit underneath too. Sweet, malty finish, vaguely herbal hoppy. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Perfectly drinkable but falls short of what you expect from a good Bock.

12 oz bottle from Brewers Haven. Bright golden pour, fowmy head fades to flat, lazy carbonation. Sweet grainy aroma, corn, adjuncts. Taste is also sweet, more grains, cereal. A light bitterness at the finish degenerates into a light metallic, acidic tingle.
